Every Member Canvass

The 2010 Every Member Canvass provides members and friends of AHCC an opportunity to express our faith, and give thanks in a tangible way. Commencing on Sunday, October 17, the Every Member Canvass campaign will focus on worship services filled with the energy of music, insight, and a generosity of spirit which culminates on Commitment Sunday, November 7. On that day we invite our whole faith family, with all of its many different financial situations and reasons for caring about AHCC, to come forward in sacred space to commit ourselves financially to our historic church - whose greatest days are today and tomorrow.

This year's theme, "When did we see you, Lord," reminds us of the many places and faces when we see God, in our lives, through AHCC - in the smile of a child, in the offering of our choir, in an inspirational message from the pulpit, in the comfort of our caregivers, in the work of our building ministry, and so many, many more.

We enjoy countless blessings at AHCC, and the Every Member Canvass enables us to support and continue the wonderful programs and inspiration of our beloved church. Please be a part of this year's Every Member Canvass so we can continue to share in all of the blessings of Asylum Hill Congregational Church.

"Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you food, thirsty and give you something to drink, a stranger and welcome you, naked and give you clothing, sick and took care of you, in prison and visited you?" And Jesus answered them, "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me." - Matthew 25:37 - 40
